The students of GGCET ST Xaviers International School are encouraged to take up sporting and recreational activities quite seriously as we believe that education remains incomplete without such involvement. In fact we look far beyond the meaning of the famous saying, “all work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy”.
Our student centric approach focuses on a method of education that has substantial play content ensuring maximum impact through utmost involvement.
Children are found to get more involved with learning whenever the instruction is interactive and sport oriented. To that extent our curriculum has been designed to induce as much learning as possible.
The GGCET campus has the best infrastructure available and consists:
An all-weather half Olympic size swimming pool and a learner’s
8-track athletics ground
Cricket, soccer fields
Basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis courts
Horse riding and skating rink
Boxing, karate, trekking, rock-climbing, aerobics and yoga training
We encourage our students to take up performing arts by providing outstanding instruction in music, drama, dance and visual arts that hone the students’ creativity and aesthetic appreciation. Additionally we also have programs in Astronomy, photography, wood-carving, glass painting and pottery for students interested in gaining knowledge in these skills
